As contract negotiations with Brandon Dubinsky have hit a speed bump, the Rangers have signed 34-year-old free agent forward Vinnie Prospal to a one-year, $1.1 million deal, The Post has learned.

Everyone thinks they’re getting the Prospal from the Lightning, little do they know he doesn’t work on a team unless he has Lecavalier and St. Louis. Ask Philly and Anaheim.

So… Zherdev and Antropov were too inconsistent for the Rangers’ liking. So instead they go out this offseason and bring in Gaborik and Prospal?
I fail to see the improvement.

Hey Primis - before you knock what they’re doing how about you have an idea of what you’re talking about. If you’ve noticed, the Rangers have had SIGNIFICANT turnover this off-season. Whether that will be successful remains to be seen. But you name 2 players that they got rid of and 2 players that they added without mentioning any other additions/changes that are going on.
