via Newsday,
Citing “as good a source as I can tell you,” MSG Network’s Al Trautwig reported on MSG’s “Hockey Night Live” Friday that the Rangers and Islanders will indeed play an outdoor game at Yankee Stadium on Jan. 1.
added 9:25pm, from the NY Daily News,
Newsday briefly posted a note saying that Al Trautwig called Rangers-Islanders at Yankee Stadium on Jan. 1 “a done deal.”
NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly was as shocked by anyone by that news. In an e-mail he just told me: “At this point, we’re not even close to concluding arrangements on a game at Yankee Stadium. But it’s something we continue to be interested in.”
My question is this… Why remove the story? Just put up an updated post, story, etc. You have been caught with your mistake, just come out and admit it!
