RFA Steve Downie has agreed to terms on two-year, $3.7M deal with Tampa. Cap hit is $1.85M.

I have a feeling that Downey under Guy Boucher will be a different player than Downey under Rich Tocchet.
We’re probably not talking 180-degrees here, but I expect him to focus more on the hockey-playing part of hockey in the next season, rather than the cheap-shotting part of hockey.
