Very sad news and a horrible loss!  Was watching a call in show on “The Score” today and a caller from Vancouver really blasted any “young athlete” who would put his life on the line by getting on and speeding on a bike, then went on to say that because he wasn’t leaving behind a wife and kids its not so bad.  I don’t even know where to start with this.  I would have called in to the show but because it was over by the time I could grasp this I had no time.  These statements were so wrong on so many levels, and I could probably go on for days ripping this moron but all I want to say is that regardless of his personal situation he is leaving behind a family and friends who will sorely miss him and will struggle to get past this...for his parents, losing a child is one of the toughest things to comprehend and move past.  My heart and prayers go out to them....RIP!

i read the news on a site at school in my library and couldnt help but yell what the f**k !!!  its a tragic and devistating loss and he didnt deserve to lose his life

Sad story, and also mind-boggling for the reasons many have already covered ad nauseum.
