from CBC,
Jeremy Roenick confirmed he’ll return to San Jose next season for another run at the Stanley Cup.
“I think it would be a shame to go one year and out,” the 19-year veteran said at the bittersweet conclusion of his first year in teal.
Roenick also echoed the dual sentiments of every coach and player in the room. He insisted the Sharks will be unfulfilled until they advance further in the postseason, but they don’t need major changes to get there.

Jeez, what a smug bastard. Tell us Ron, by what criteria? Wins against Phoenix on Tuesdays? Because by any reasonable measure I can find (active career wins, active career win percentage, wins/win percentage with current team, etc. as well as all-time records) you’re at best second, not “second to none”.
More excellence in journalism. The Sharks are actually third with 187 wins over that span. Dallas narrowly beats them (189), but Detroit is out front by a mile (210).
