Sami Salo Tears Achilles Playing Floorball

According to reports out of Finland, Vancouver Canucks defenceman Sami Salo tore an Achilles tendon playing floor hockey and will be out at least three months.
The Canucks have yet to confirm or deny the report, which surfaced on Friday.
I Skyped with a buddy in Finland, he is confirming this and I put up a tweet about it.

yeah, I’m starting to think there’s something seriously, medically wrong with him. Like maybe he has one of those disorders that causes people to live their lives in a padded apartment. I mean, look at the guy; he doesn’t look healthy.
It’s too bad, because a few years ago he was one of my favorite defensemen in the league. He’s got a ripper shot, but seriously, you can’t hit the net from the infirmary.

man, this guy was made of glass, we should have shipped him out and got a 1st rd pick during the deadline a few years ago instead of renewing his contract. This guy is perpetually injured ALWAYS. He’s solid when healthy but he is NEVER healthy
