from the StarPhoenix via the Vancouver Sun,
It’s official: Hockey Canada announced Monday that Saskatoon and Regina have landed the 2010 world junior hockey championships.
The Saskatoon/Regina group had been bidding on either the 2010 or 2012 championships.
“You started the bar to grow in this championship and I know we’ll be able to do a better and better job every time we host in this province,” said Hockey Canada’s Bob Nicholson as he made the announcement.
