from Eric Stephens of Ducks Blog at the OC Register,
As the Ducks piece together a lineup missing several offensive performers for tonight’s game against Minnesota, they did reveal some good news in that Teemu Selanne could be back within the next few games.
Coach Randy Carlyle said that Selanne will accompany the team on its three-game road trip that begins on New Year’s Eve in Dallas. Selanne has been out since Dec. 3 when he suffered a broken bone in his left hand in a game ironically against the Stars.
It’s doubtful that Selanne will make an appearance on the trip but …
“Teemu’s time frame is after the first of January,” Carlyle said. ”So we will take him with us to skate. He will wear a protective device. We’ll probably have an X-ray or an MRI done on his hand before he’s cleared to play.”
continue for more on the Ducks…
