Sergei Samsonov Taken To Hospital

Sergei Samsonov injured at 1:55 of third after Byfuglien hit along boards. Samsonov needs a stretcher to be taken from ice.
Samsonov is being taken to an Atlanta hospital.
added 9:47pm, via a Carolina Hurricanes tweet,
Sergei Samsonov is at hospital for precautionary testing, but has full sensation & team is hopeful he’ll be released tonight.
added 10:00pm, David Lee of Red and Black Hockey at KK has a little more information and will keep you posted as more information becomes available.
added 10:15pm, David has another update, sprained neck for Samsonov.
