Yzerman (now considered as management by Shanahan) said he spoke with Brendan last night and he really wants to come back to Detroit. Doesn’t want to have to pick-up the family and move.
Steve also mentioned the Wings need a goalie, maybe they will get one today or maybe not until December or January. It will be worked out. The Wings know what they are doing.

Hey Mike, that type of talk is not welcomed here.
We have hockey fans here. No need for name calling. Discussion is welcomed, your way is not.

Hey Blitzen, At least you guys have a goalie. I am sure someone will come and play for the Habs. I havent followed Montreal Hockey that much but what does your team need?

“The Wings know what they are doing.”
I respect Stevie Y as much as the next guy, but if he says this, it’s so? Because if I’m a Wings fan, I’m beginning to get more than a little concerned.
And the fact someone chose Ottawa over Detroit when the money was equal says that perhaps the days when people are dying to come to Hockeytown are on the decline.

Or did Gerber go to Ottawa because of something about Babcock?

Since nobody wants to come and play with Montreal, maybe the Habs could offer to pay the pucks for the league with their extra cap space?
