Worry no more Ranger fans. “Shanny” is in the fold.
Despite Shanahan’s proclamation at season’s end, rumors persisted this off-season that No. 14 might be headed elsewhere. Shanahan however, has proven to be a real team player on-and-off the ice -both during the season and now in the off-season. He understood how important it was for GM Glen Sather to deal with more pressing issues before it came time for Shanahan to re-up.
more... and many Wings fans will agree with David’s views. We have witnessed the “Shanny delay” numerous times throughout his career with the Wings. Once he made the statement that he did, there should have been no doubt about his return.
