But why would any self-respecting author – Frankel’s works have appeared in The New Yorker magazine, Cosmopolitan and just about everything short of The Hockey News – want to climb aboard an ice-shaving-grooming machine invented by Frank Zamboni?
Martha, who lives in the Catskill Mountain hamlet of West Shokan, confesses that it’s all rooted in her absolute, unequivocal passion for the New Jersey Devils and her favorite of all faves, goalie Martin Brodeur. Well, just a moment, Marty is second; the Zamboni still is at the top of her list.
