Sidney Crosby Scares Me

All the fuss during the trade deadline about getting Sidney Crosby some protection from the NHL’s “thugs”, you’d never imagine that the Upper Deck hockey collectibles company would conceive this action figure for their newest collection.

Nice shoulders. Is it Crosby or the Incredible Hulk? Makes me wonder why the Penguins bothered picking up Georges Laraque...

The scariest part?
The 2,000-limited-edition aspect will fetch big profits for the Ebayers who snap those up. If there’re any variants?
I’ve seen McFarlane figures go for $200+!

I don’t think this was made with accuracy in mind. I think it looks pretty cool - and if I collected those figures I would snap one up for sure.
My question - if it was not Crosby do you make the post in the first place?

No, it wasn’t made with accuracy and in mind. The company calls is “‘stylized realism’ found in comic-book art” which seems like a good description.
And I think it looks cool, too. Just playing around, WingMan…

LOL
Sure sure… now you are playing… ha ha I hear ya, truthfully it is a scary sight - but I think to the young’uns it’ll go over well. Sid is an easy sell, hell I think you could put tights and figure skates on him and it would sell (perhaps for different reasons tho).
I was just giving you a hard time A. I will melt back into the background now…
