from Greg Logan of Newsday,
Simon was booed by a segment of the crowd when he took his first couple of shifts in the first period, and there was no discernible applause to counter that negative reaction….
“For me to be effective and play the way I can, I have to be in the moment and focus on each game, each shift,” Simon said. “I can’t control what other people think. All I can do is work hard and play hard.”

why do people like this keep getting chances? i’m sure there are 20 kids on their farm team who would rather be playing than him, and would contribute something more than caveman-like-aggression. I’m so glad that he got booed by his home crowd.
