“In their inimitable way, the KHL has fallen down face-first with its salary payments ... especially those clubs that are in any shape or form connected to sponsorships by metal-producing companies and such have been hit hard .

Who here’s surprised? Oh right, nobody… pretty sure this was called from the very beginning. All that talk about billionaire owners with deep pockets was obviously a lot of bull that had no bearing in reality. Truth is, they can’t possibly afford to operate under the financial model they are.
