St. Louis Picks up David Koci, and Other Transactions

From the St. Louis Blues:

St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the team claimed forward David Koci on waivers from the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Lightning also waived Jason Ward today while claiming Matt Pettinger off re-entry waivers from Vancouver.

In other transaction news [TSN]:

Also, Vancouver’s Kyle Wellwood, Darren McCarty of Detroit and Sharks defenceman Lukas Kaspar all cleared the transaction wire, New York Rangers forward Patrick Rissmiller and Anaheim Ducks defenceman Ken Klee have been placed on waivers.

Not your bad, Alanah, but I’m fairly sure Kaspar is a forward.

Oh Shucks, I was hoping to see Koci three times this season, and have someone kill him for ending Gonchar’s season before it even began. I guess we will have to settle for one ass beating instead of three.
