Thousands of spectators took over the Forum tonight in a frenzied demonstration against Clarence Campbell, president of the National Hockey League. They were furious over the suspension of their idol, Maurice (Rocket) Richard. Campbell was assaulted and pelted with fruit and overshoes before the game between Montreal and Detroit was forfeited to the visiting Red Wings.
