Stars Still Believe In Their Team

...the Stars’ co-general managers said Friday they have no plans of terminating coach Dave Tippett or shipping out key players.
“That just doesn’t make sense in the long-term,” Brett Hull said. “I mean, we worked hard all summer to come up with a plan, and we’re not going to bail on it a month into the season....
(co-GM Les) Jackson said he also doesn’t expect any trades, in part because, “we really don’t have a lot of options at this time.”
The Stars’ current roster projects to be within $150,000 of the $56.7 million salary cap. The recent free-agent signing of Mark Parrish ($500,000) addressed some of the team’s needs but also made additional player movement difficult.
