Stars Trade For Andrew Hutchinson

FRISCO, Tex. - The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has acquired defenseman Andrew Hutchinson from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for right wing Lauri Tukonen, who is currently playing for Lukko Rauma in the Finnish Elite League. Hutchinson is expected to join the Stars in time for their upcoming two-game road trip to Calgary and Edmonton.

The horse is dead kids, you can stop beating it.
Hutchinson wasn’t getting a shot in Tampa as it was, might as well move him along while you can get something for him.

the horse isn’t dead until tampa decides to hold onto a defencemen or two (or three) and stop acquiring forwards, thank you.

i wasn’t a math major in HS or college ... but my calculations show that that transaction leaves the Lightning with approximately 1 defenseman and 342 forwards.
