Steve Sullivan Making Slow Progress

Forward Steve Sullivan is making some progress from his back injury but is still not ready to rejoin the team, Trotz said.
Trotz said the Predators are preparing for a season without Sullivan — who hasn’t played since hurting his back in February of 2007 — and will consider his return a bonus.

I agree. Sullivan is a good talent and a great leader, and the NHL and the Predators really miss him.
I cannot believe this back injury thing keeps going. It is well over a year and a half now. A real tragedy for everyone, especially Sullivan.

The Preds could sure use Sullivan on the ice, especially now that Radulov is AWOL. Sullivan is a hard worker and a class act, so the situation must be bad for him to have been out so long.
