There are few NHL coaches who can feel secure about their continued employment after their season ends in April. Carrying the burden of expectations that come with a division championship and years of playoff disappointments, Wilson was not one of them.

This is the first actual challenge the Sharks have had in the first round for the last two years. Taking out Nashville was too easy so I think they got too overconfident for the second round. This year, they were almost wiped and they know how close they came to being on the outside looking in. I think they’ll pull it together vs Dallas because they went through a bit of a struggle this year. They’ll go all the way.
