Burke said Friday afternoon he is considering offers from a total four teams for a combination of players, with the most recent team joining the fray Friday morning.
It’s possible the deal could be done within hours, but Burke said there is no urgency to make a deal because Niedermayer likely won’t play tonight.
“We have offers on multiple guys,” Burke told thehockeynews.com. “We’re sorting through offers and we’re trying to do the best thing. I don’t think Scotty is playing tonight so there’s no time sensitivity other than I think it’s affecting our team.”
