from the blog of Ansar Khan (Wings beat writer) at Mlive,
The Wings, according to several in the organization, will open on Friday if the Rangers don’t win their division and draw Buffalo.
Here’s how it was explained: Buffalo’s arena is not available on Friday, forcing the Sabres to play Games 1 and 2 of their series on Saturday and Monday. NBC, which will televise games on Saturday and Sunday, intends to show the Wings one day and the Rangers the other. If the Rangers play the Sabres, they’ll play Saturday afternoon on NBC, and NBC will then show the Wings on Sunday, which would be Game 2 of their series.

Will Friday’s game be on FSN then if they open on Friday. I know FSN added a Tigers game for Friday night because of the Wings probable Saturday start.
