The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired defenseman Dick Tarnstrom from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for left wing Curtis Glencross, club General Manager Scott Howson announced today.

This is an awful trade for Columbus. Curtis Glencross is a great checking foward. He’ll fit well on Edmonton.
