Technical Difficulties

KK went offline briefly and we’re not sure why.  But it seems to be back up and working for now.

Sorry about the interruption.

added 4:55pm (Paul), from our hosting company and sorry for the tech terms- you may understand it better than I did…

Staff is still investigating along with the data centers Sr. engineers and CTO on the root cause of the issues, so far the conclusion is that a line card in one of the Cisco switches at the data center providers core that feeds our own network was the initial cause of the problems.

The actual initial cause of that issue we are still looking into as we have never had trouble with that connection/switch connection to the data center before.  Sorry for the slow loadings, or inability to access our systems for approx. 10 to 15 minutes depending on which of our monitoring systems we review and what they test for.

The system clock we use is accurate, but the way you see posts depends on the time zone you’ve selected in your preferences—if you’re logged into you membership account when you post. (You can go to your account’s “localization settings” to change the time zone to whatever you prefer).

For anyone not logged in, it should display in the default… which is EST.

Sorry for the confusion. smile

WOW

Thanks Alanah, that fixed it.

I really didn’t expect a solution to my smart ass comment.

Translation for the masses: blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Engineers (especially software engineers)!  Can’t live with ‘em; can’t kill ‘em. smile

LOL!  OTC, I’m sure there’s some finger-pointing going on over there between the hardware people and the software people.
