The #1 Bad Boy Of Canadian Hockey

from Gary Dimmock of the Ottawa Citizen,
Although Ottawa Citizen investigative reports sparked an Ontario Provincial Police investigation into the sex exploitation allegations, Frost, who said nothing to the media as he walked out of a Napanee, Ont., courtroom Friday, spoke exclusively with the newspaper on Saturday.
“They (the authorities) played me up to be the bad boy of hockey; well, now I’ll show them how much of a bad boy I can be,” Frost said.
On his website, http://www.hockeygodonline.com, he bills himself as the No. 1 bad boy of Canadian hockey.
It includes “Frosty’s favourites” — his take on top players — hockey pool information, premium details for aspiring players, and a “Hockey Hottie” of the month, a feature that has a place for pictures of female hockey fans wearing nothing but a jersey with the chance of winning prizes.
Frost about the site...
This web site is going to be the most knowledgeable and at times controversial site in Hockey and we will dive right into all that is Hockey from the players to the management of the teams.

Paul, you run the best site on the net that compiles hockey stories of interest, and the number of regular readers, like myself, is a testament to the quality of the site you and your bloggers put together.
So I implore you, please, PLEASE, don’t give links to stories on Frost’s site. The man, despite having been aquitted, has been a corrosive influence to the kids who played for him. And his website is designed only out of malice, spite, and arrogance.
Tomorrow is positive hockey story day, as per your efforts. Let’s make the lead story from Kuklas Korner a positive one by announcing you will ignore Frost’s corner of the web in your hockey coverage. Please, PLEASE.

VooX, I did think long and hard about posting the link and I do agree with you about Mr. Frost.
On the other hand, KK readers can make their own decisions and I trust many have the same views that you do.
Mr, Frost will not get any more attention from KK and in my opinion, his site is just another example of what he is all about.

As long as you don’t click on the links it should be fine.
He can’t approach advertisers directly because of his reputation, so no one’s going to care about the number of hits he gets (yes, it might inflate his ego - but seeing as he bills himself as the “hockey god” it can’t get much more inflated).
In any event, I’m not sure what’s scarier - the Mike Danton section of the site or the horrible spelling (scratch that - I can get past the spelling mistakes).

I agree it is best to ignore him from now on ... but I for one am glad to be aware of what he is up to. No need to click on the link and investigate his site, but I’d rather not be ignorant - it is an important and newsworthy hockey-related story.
But I have to second Kate. Retch.

Thanks Paul. No need to infect this site with the plague that is Frost.

“Monthly blog from Mike Danton former NHL player with New Jersey Devils and St.Louis Blues unedited take on what has happened to him and the world of Hockey through his eye’s.”
Is he going to be blogging about the prison league? This is so twisted, I can’t comprehend the kind of control Frost has on him.

This man makes me sick and every story that I hear from him makes me sicker and sicker to my stomach. The poor girl who testified against him in court was made to be a fool, after going through the excruciating pain of embarassing herself bringing up her past. It’s quite clear that the players who came to Frost’s defense are just as twisted and corrupted as Mike Danton unfortunately was.
David Frost should be, and has been, banned from all minor hockey across the country and the fact that he’s not in jail is a crime in itself. The fact that this man is allowed to spout his filth is embarassing. We can only hope that justice finds this monster sooner rather than later.
Mike Danton blogging from prison. Wow. This whole thing is so screwed up.

Is site for real? it is so seriously twisted it is falling into some type of bizarre humor…
I can’t imagine any NHL player or management giving the time of day to the guy, much less insider information.

Is site for real?
That was my first reaction too canesice. But I figured the Ottawa Citizen must have done their homework on it.

The Globe and Mail has a little more information on the website.
They tried to contact Frost but he is unavailable.
