OTC- they’re also not recognizing Z plays center. Le sigh.

OTC, How can you even say that? Are you dumb? Malkin is leading the league in points, and is #8… Yeah, they just love the penguins and the east…
its not a bias for anyone, it’s just a bunch of idiots throwing out dumb numbers like they know something special. Not to mention they are comparing apples, oranges, bananas, and mangos.

Where’s the love for Setoguchi or Marleau? They’re tearing it up over here on the West Coast. Actually, I don’t see anyone past the Central time zone. How sad is that…

Well, Kevin, I’m not dumb. I’m guessing they’re at least factoring in talent into the equation. Malkin may have the lead in points, but he’s proven himself to be a non-entity when games are on the line. To date, he has zero game-winning goals. Points are nice but it’s game-winners that really count. Even Hossa has one and Hank has two.
So cry all you want about Geno’s point total. In the end, he’s actually rated higher than he should be.

Just hilarious. Tim Thomas has played in eight out of 12 games for Boston and only has a record in six of those. And he’s rated #2? And only six of the top 20 are from the West? As I said, just hilarious.
If Hossa had the same stats and was playing in Pittsburgh this year, he’d be in the top five, not at #13. And Pavel doesn’t even show up in the top 20? Beyond hilarious!
But that’s alright. Let the East-leaning pundits sing the praises of their boys. When it comes time to settle this all next spring, it will be a Western Conference team on top. And, IMHO, any Western Conference team that makes the quarter finals next spring would beat the Eastern Conference finalist.
The TSN ranking is a complete and utter joke!
