Sports blogging seems to carry with it a sense of courtesy that doesn’t exist in the mainstream media. If a story, or thought, originates somewhere; that writer is referenced. It’s natural and it happens every day at every blog. Mainstreamers? Not so much.
Why? Credibility, cash and competition. Thousands of writers for papers, tv and radio all battling for the same leads, the same stories and, most importantly, the same type of name recognition that comes from that one story that can take them to the next level, or bring their employer the all-important advertising buck.
For instance, if I were to post this and attribute it to Spector’s, you’d most likely give it some serious consideration.
Two more sources confirmed that the Red Wings are seriously considering Hasek as their number 1, but one source believes the team may be doing so “out of frustration.” That source went on to say, “If Anson Carter does land in Toronto in the next day or so, the Wings will not be able to pick up the top 6 forward they need to feel comfortable moving a top 6 guy for Biron or Giguere.”
But when I tell you that it actually came from the child-like imagination of Dwayne Klessel (aka Eklund), your natural—and correct—reaction is to laugh it off.

It is not a dislike for Dwayne. It is the lies and deception that is a problem.
Look around KK, you may discover some things that just don’t make sense.
I have tried to email him for his repsonse to some questions I had, but he never returned it.
Now, on to the next topic…

Great article but I won’t read on. Anything mention of Dwayne turns me off. The guy has lied, like working for the NHL and a few NHL teams.
Also, where is the book he wrote?
He refuses to answer these type of questions I have asked him in the past. He lied to attract readers but not this one.
