from TSN,
Peter Forsberg is not coming back to the NHL.
Forsberg’s agent Don Baizley has begun advising NHL teams that Forsberg doesn’t have enough confidence in his wonky foot to commit to a return to the league this season.

thanks be. even though I’ll miss any sort of update during this time of year, concerning any player or team, I’m sure there will be no shortage of rumors out there. didn’t i hear something about sundin to the wings?

Hossa will be wearing a Red Wing sweater before Sundin, Waddell and Holland are pretty tight, I say Hossa will end up in Detroit on Feb 26th.

I think Sundin will get more press just because of the fact he plays for Toronto and despite the fact he has said 1459 times that he like playing there, of course he will waive his no-trade clause to play for a contender and net his team a bevy of prospects. ![]()
Seriously, I wish they’d quit badgering the man. He must feel as though he’s being stalked.

Paul,
I don’t think the Wings can afford to sign Hossa.
Waddell says he wants more than draft picks.
I doubt Holland will give up players, only for the playoff run, and lose him July 1.

HTT, I just mentioned Hossa will be in the spotlight now, and I agree with you about the Wings. Price needs to come down before the Wings get involved.

If Waddell asks for Hudler and a second rounder, I think Holland makes that deal. If it’s Kopecky and a first, he might make that deal too.
