Phil Coffey of NHL.com prepares us for the young star battle tonight,
“He’s a great player,” Crosby said of Ovechkin. “Obviously he has had a great start to the season so far. He’s got good speed. He can do it all I think. He’s got a great shot, too.
“He’s definitely dangerous when he’s out there,” Crosby continued. “He’s someone I’m sure other teams have to watch.”
“I don’t compare me and Sidney because I think we are different players,” Ovechkin echoed. “He’s a great passer and he sees the ice real well. I think we are different players.”
