The Latest Talk

Bob McKenzie was just on Team 990 in Montreal and said he expects Rolston to sign with Tampa Bay.

Bob mentioned even though the Tampa management team has dismissed the Dan Boyle trade rumors, he is being shopped and remember, Boyle has a NTC.  Bob then wondered what will Tampa do on the defensive end.

The Senators need to sign their own players and Spezza won’t be moved unless something comes up that knocks the socks off of the Sens.

He mentioned Brian Campbell will get between 6.5-7M and Redden in the 6-6.5 salary range.  Bob felt at one time Campbell would sign but the family issue he has may force him to sign in the East.  Hard to know if he will chase the $$$ or the opportunity.

Bob wonders if Boyle would be a fit in San Jose if they do lose Campbell.

He feels both Theodore and Huet will go the UFA route but could see the Caps signing Huet.
