The Maven Likes Red - Finally

from Stan Fischler at Game On,

I can’t wait. The Maven foresees a classic series which I expect to end short of the wire. That is, Red Wings in six—in spite of Sid The Kid and his Clan, and whether concussion-bothered Johan Franzen is in the Detroit lineup or not!

Shocker, Fischler picks against the Pens again.

This old coot has had the Pens eliminated every round since the first.

The old fossil has picked against the Wings every round as well. Well as far as I’m concerned, he has just had his first lucid moment in a long while.

“BRING IT ON!”
Lets Go Red Wings!!!!!

No, Kate, you don’t understand- this is bad

Fischler picking the Wings is pretty much the closest thing possible to a guaranteed Pens victory…

Great.  Just great.  First Melrose and now Fischler.  He hasn’t called one winner in the entire Western Conference.  Kiss of death.
