from Ansar Khan of Mlive,
“I really don’t think he’s a dirty player whatsoever,’’ Kronwall said. “I think he’s one of those guys that has a really good reputation, plays hard. I think this was more of an accident.’’
Kronwall said he is satisfied with the five-game suspension the NHL gave Laraque.
“I think it was fair,’’ Kronwall said. “It was kind of in the range I thought he would get. We have people in the league who look over things like this. They’ve done their job.’’

Kronwall just set himself up for the next time he lays a huge clean hit that knocks someone out of the game. If the NHL ends up reviewing that hit, by his own words, Kronner’s can’t argue if the league decides to suspend him.
I do think Brashear play was dirty and merited more punishiment. I’d say at least 10 -15 games.
Brasher may be a “good guy” off the ice, but his idiotic play shouldn’t allow him to even play in the pee-wee leagues. If you’re out there to injure, you have no business in the game...unless Brian Burke hires you.

Question is, will Danny Briere’s hit on Scott Hannan be looked at.
The little d-bag jumped up to crosscheck Hannan in the neck with his stick after a goal was scored and the whistle blew. Hannan went straight to the locker room and didn’t come back.
Of course, the little d-bag is what the NHL considers a star, so I’m sure he won’t get a thing.
