from Randy Sportak of the Calgary Sun,
Olli Jokinen is adamant it’s no big deal to face his old team.
Even though the Calgary Flames forward is the all-time leading scorer for the Florida Panthers and he went from potential early-draft bust to a star, point-per-game player over his seven seasons with the club, Jokinen is doing his best not to concern himself with who provides the opposition for Thursday night’s clash at the Saddledome.
He has much bigger concerns.
He and linemates Alex Tanguay and Jarome Iginla have all failed to score a point in the firs two outings this season.
It’s not a disaster or time to call the trio a failure yet, but that lack of production won’t quiet the critics who panned the organization for bringing back Jokinen and Tanguay to ignite the club’s stagnant offensive attack.
