from TSN,
The NHL has selected the 20 referees and 20 linesmen who will work the 2007 Stanley Cup playoffs, with one veteran referee surprisingly left off the list.
54 year-old Kerry Fraser, the longest serving referee in NHL history, did not make the cut this year.
read on for the list of officials…

Im surprised Kerry Fraser was left off, but then again, Im not… in the past he has made some questionable calls, and I mean in the past, since he became a referee.

How is McGeough on that list?? No one has made more obvious mistakes this season… imagine the little ones that people have forgotten. Again, this was a chance for the league to step up and make a statement about their officials by selecting the most competent crew… and once again it seems they do not care. Sad.

I can’t believe McGeough is on the list. That’s just…wrong. Wow. I can’t believe it.

Looks like I’m not the only one surprised to see “Magoo” on the list. How the heck did that happen?

MaGoo must know where some bodies are buried. The guy is untouchable. He has blown entire games with the wrong call, and then been an ass about it. I don’t understand.

I’d rather have Fraser than Magoo. I really hope he doesn’t cost any team a series with a bad call in, say, overtime of a Game 7.

I’ll miss his hair. It gave me hope.
