...apparently this stuff matters to people, so here’s your unbiased quarter-season Eastern Conference All-Star ballot, based solely on this season’s performance.
G-Tim Thomas—He has the best numbers in the NHL and is the most entertaining hockey player since the monkey in the MVP movies.
D-Zdeno Chara—Still the single most intimidating presence in the NHL. Plus, I like to keep him on my good side.
D-Andrei Markov—Okay, they were probably right on that one, though Washington’s Mike Green, Florida’s Jay Boewmeester and Ottawa’s Filip Kuba all merit consideration.
