The Windsor Preds

Mike Stone of WDFN in Detroit wants the Predators to move to Windsor!
Mike thinks it would be cool and can just imagine the rivalry that would be created.
What do you think?  Be kind to Stoney, a good guy and the best radio sports guy in Detroit.
Wojo, his sidekick says the only way for this to happen is to call the team the Windsor Ballets (Detroit area residents can explain if it comes up).

We could have even more rivalries with my planned division:

War of 1812 Division

Detroit Red Wings
Windsor Proberts
London Hunters
Hamilton Smog
Buffalo Sabres
York Maple Leafs

It’s too bad Windsor doesn’t have more people, it would make for an insane rivalry.

I’m still holding out hope for Winnipeg…but I think the plan will be Hamilton all the way!

It would be interesting if they ended up in the Windsor area, but knowing the NHL, they’d be moved to the Eastern Conference and the Wings would only play them once a year, thus not beginning any kind of natural rivalry.  And Detroit will still be force fed a healthy dose of games against new “rival” Columbus.
