Former Steelers running back Jerome Bettis, a Detroit native, was neutral during last year’s Cup run, but this time, he’s rooting for the Pens.

“Now, I think it’s time for Pens to win it,” said Bettis. “Because these young guys have paid their dues. They’re ready to win a championship, and they need to bring it, bring it home to Pittsburgh.”

• How great was it to see Jim Gregory, Senior VP of Hockey Operations present the Clarence S. Campbell Bowl to the Wings last night.  Mr. Gregory suffered a very serious heart attack a few months back and it was niceto see him out and about.

• I wonder what the decibel level in the Joe would have been if Chelios had knocked-in that rebound in OT?

• Once again, I will be attending all the SCF games in Detroit and if you are attending the game, I want to talk to you and yes, that includes you Pens fans.  .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) me to find out why.
