“It’s hard because it’s been hot in this building, and when you look around the league, everywhere it’s hot, the ice is going to be in that condition. … It’s not just about being able to make plays on the ice, but about injuries, too.’’…
What the Predators could really use is a dehumidifier, an apparatus used in many NHL rinks to make the ice smoother and safer. Dehumidifiers are expensive, however, and the Predators have never purchased one.
