Eric Duhatschek of the Globe and Mail has a story up on Sidney Crosby and on the right sidebar, the Globe and Mail ranks the Top 200 players scorers in the NHL
Pretty fair I would say.

added 9/29/07, Ha, actually the offficial title of the Top 200 is Duhatschek’s Top 200 Fantasy Players.

Actually, the list is of the projected top 200 scorers, not the top 200 players.

Why is Marcel Hossa on that list? He hasn’t done ANYTHING and is a marginal player on the Rangers.

Ok, that makes more sense then. Hossa might be playing with Jagr this year.

Todd Bertuzzi at #44 is going to score more than Alexander Semin at #55. Umm....no

No Derek Roy on that list? pretty incredible omission for a guy on a line with Vanek and Afinogenov. He had 63 points last year and I believe a +37 playing with those same two players. If those guys are ranked 25 and 25, Roy shouldn’t be far behind and certainly not left off the list.
