Trade Talks May Be Dying Down For Columbus

from Aaron Portzline of Puck-rakers,
I don’t see a trade going down anytime soon. Not unless something drastic happens in the next two or three days. Let’s face it, the Blue Jackets have only draft picks to trade. Why would teams trade the roster players for a second-round draft pick in the middle of January? Perhaps a better offer will come along in February or early March, right before the NHL trade deadline. Right now, they’ll only trade them for picks if they “win” the deal.
more on the Blue Jackets, specifically all of their injuries…
