from Pierre LeBrun at Sporstnet,
WARNING: This column is total fantasy and not based on any factual information. But if I had my way, here are 10 moves that I would like to see happen in my fantasy world before the Feb. 26 NHL trade deadline:
1. Atlanta trades star winger Marian Hossa to Vancouver in exchange for impressive rookie defenceman Alexander Edler, centre Ryan Kesler and a second-round pick in 2008.

is this dude on drugs?
Hossa, a 90-100 point ‘2-way’ player for Kesler, Edler and a 2nd round pick? this truly IS fantasy (and biased to the writers own agenda obviously).
Kesler is currently at 22 points and isnt going to be a 1st or even top tier 2nd line player in this league. Edler is decent but not even close in prospect value to what Hossa offers - and the second round pick (which will be mid-late round) will amount to nothing in ATL’s drafting system.
these guys get paid for this rag material? thats sad.

This guy is nuts, why would the Sharks want a washed up has been like Blake, and a very soft winger who disappears at playoff time. If I was Doug Wilson I would ask the Kings to give me a draft pick and Blake just to take him off there hands. Blakes hasn’t been any good for 3 years now. Nagy want no part of him.

Give “the guy” credit…That’s the first trade rumour column I’ve ever read where the author admits “I’m making this up.” He’d put Bruce Garrioch, Eklund, and the media throngs surrounding the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens out of work en masse.
