Claiming Laraque has waived his NTC for Pittsburgh. Not done yet, but talking.
update 11:41am, via TSN,
Forward Georges Laraque has waived his no-trade clause with the Phoenix Coyotes for the purpose of being traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins for forward Daniel Carcillo and an eighth-round pick.

After watching Sunday’s matinee between the Pens and the Bolts, I thought the Penguins were just a little big more grit away from running for the cup this year if not next.
Laraque in the east and on the Penguins is a very scary combination.

Laraque, Ruutu, Avery, Eager, Simon, Witt, Janssen the Atlantic division is the place to be for physical and pesty players, no?

More about Carcillo here. He’s played only in the AHL and ECHL but is expected to suit up for the Coyotes it seems, his first chance to play in the NHL.
