Kukla’s Korner is always a free service for readers, but it costs some money to maintain. If you’re ever in a position to donate a few dollars to help out, we’d be very appreciative.

If Glendale is so awesome as a hockey market, why wouldn’t the NHL keep it and reap the financial windfall of such a terrific hockey franchise?
When it begins to actually making money, sell it for a profit.
The reason they don’t do this is because they know as well as anyone that it’s a financial disaster and they’re desperate to to find a billionaire hockey fanatic who doesn’t mind losing millions every season to own a shiny new toy.
And don’t tell me they can’t do this because of conflict of interest. The league has owned the team for 2 years now, so what’s another 2 or 3?
And as long as Colin Campbell is in office, the NHL can never use ‘conflict of interest’ as an excuse. EVER.
