And people wonder why hockey is the least known of all major sports, because a person who hasn’t played in 9 months is still the center of attention. Hmm, how about we keep a scheduled press conference discussing my concussion recovery a few hours after the news broke of Lokomotiv’s plane crashing. That’s not in bad taste, right? Right, because I’m sure press conference’s are next to impossible to reschedule in the offseason…
This may sound bad, but I don’t care. I really don’t care how long he’s been gone, or how much longer he’ll be gone for, because in a way karma got Mr. Cheapshot complainer.
Not to mention, I know the league and media have been trying to tell us otherwise, but there was such a thing as the NHL before Crosby became a player, there’s been an NHL since he’s been injured, and the NHL will survive long after Crosby retires. So everything will be just fine without him around.

I want to say I see the sarcasm here. I’m trying very hard.

Even if he never plays again, he kept the Penguins from moving to KC. That’s an accomplishment.
That said, I hope he recovers soon if only because I don’t want to hear Pens fans’ excuses when their team falters.
