Darren Helm uses his speed and a nifty move for a “shorty”. The goal put the Wings up 4-1 late in the 2nd but the Coyotes scored three in the 3rd and won in the shootout.

That’s why I said candidate. Haven’t had a chance to see many goals tonight but did see Jeffrey’s, which was good and more crucial.

Just saying thanks for not declaring this was the Goal of the Night before all the games in the league were completed.

Thanks. Glad that sharing my opinion could be labeled as such. Still stand by it, too.

It’s a nice one, but I don’t think it’s as nice as the shorty he got in LA earlier in the road trip. That one was him really showing us what a guy with rockets in his skates can do.

Its a beautiful one. I’ll say goal of the week so there. Thanks!

Kukla’s Korner is always a free service for readers, but it costs some money to maintain. If you’re ever in a position to donate a few dollars to help out, we’d be very appreciative.

Not even close to being as good as Tavares and James van Riemsdyk’s goals today.
Unless you’re taking them out of the running because they technically played “today” and not “tonight”.
Even then, Dustin Jeffrey’s game-winning goal in OT > this one.
