Both Scott Hartnell and Dion Phaneuf received 5 for fighting and Hartnell also was given 2 for slashing.

I’d like to see a new rule where when a guy goes after another guy after a goal is scored, there’s an automatic Game Misconduct, and an automatic hearing before the league.
Phaneuf initiated that fight. I don’t like that your team can get scored upon, and then you initiate a fight, and get nothing but 5 min. for it. It’s a slippery slope… one not that far from Hunter-Turgeon.
