I should have been clear the first time. I’m wasn’t reacting to that part of the interview. It just seemed at the beginning of the broadcast like they were really trying to sell the rivalry idea.

Am I alone, or did the Philly/NYR rivalry seem a bit talked up by these guys? I’m probably just misinformed, but aside from being divisional opponents, do these guys really have that storied of a history? I always thought the Rangers had the Islanders and the Flyers had the Pens.
