Kovalchuk landed a right to the face of Schenn, brining him to his knees.
No penalty on Rinaldo. My mistake, he did get 2 for tripping.

Ahhh nothing warms my heart more than seeing a flyer thug getting Ko’d. Wonder how bobby clarke feels about seeing a flyer getting destroyed by a Russian?

Why does Rinaldo have a job in this league? Wanker.

Did they eventually get around to playing hockey in that game? I hate the goonery that is the “tradition” in Philly.

That would be why they have no Cups in the last 30-or-so years

By the way, Kovalchuk isn’t exactly a softie, but hilarious that he of all people brings a Flyer (any Flyer) down with a punch.
So much for Flyer street cred.

I’m not an advocate or fan of fighting in the game, but it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving team…playing at home…in Palookaville USA! Schenn will think twice about dropping his gloves to show off in the future. And, boy, what a punch it was!!

Let’s see….. a few more hundred or so like penalties to the Flyers and all might be close to even.

It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving team…playing at home… Until Clarke is gone from the organization, the Flyers will never change. For now, they remain the cheap shot artists of the NHL.

Nice punch, good job by Rinaldo to let Schenn fight his battle for him….
