The best part is the big grin on DiPietro’s face—right up until he gets clocked.

wanna hear a funny story,i was a zam driver at Compuware Arena back when Dippy was with USDP in the NAHL,i was going to do the ice cut and he started running his mouth at me to get the ice done faster.we traded comments with each pass.long story short Compuware smoked him,it was a total blowout,my last cut for the 3rd i asked him if he wanted me to go slower so he could get ready to play the 3rd period.the Compuware kids laughed.it was a kick to see him be so hyped, kid has a big head that kept his talent from showing.his career has proved that.

So Johnson’s next fight is going to be against Von Kaiser, right? Should be easy enough. They don’t really get challenging until King Hippo.

Johnson just blew a shutout, but probably earned himself a contract extension with that one punch. He earned the respect of about 300,000 Penguin fans with that sacrifice.

This is the funniest thing I’ve seen in hockey since Jarkko Ruutu pulled Dion Phaneuf’s leg.
